Need help finding a good source.?

I was wondering if anyone knows a way to find a site which talks about advancements in technology and how it has improved life expectancies and decreased mortality rates. I have tried google but I can't seem to find a good website. It has to be a credible source; which means the information written in the website should be by someone who is an expert.
