Full veil issue, opinions on this would be appreciated?

veils are worn for cultural reasons not religious ones and as such, living in a culture which is foreign to this practise, they should accept the fact they may be asked to take them off; especially for photo ids. it is their right to refuse of course but then no complaint should be made due to not getting a drivers licence or been asked, politely, to leave a shop. the opposite of this would be a western lady walking the streets of Iran in a -tube and hot-pants; their answer would of course be to arrest her and chuck her in jail. you hear no instances of this, so the conclusion must be drawn that the west is still more culturally sensitive than the middle east.
