I Just changed the intake and carb on a chevy 350 small block, and when I took the distributor out I did not mark it.I understand I need to bring the #1 cylinder to top dead center, and put the rotor in facing the #1 cyliner on the cap. Is using the marking on the harmonic balancer a good way? and then the rotor should go in with the point facing #1 cylinder
